Supported Living Service

Live well in your own home

We support adults with learning disabilities to live in their own homes – flats, houses bungalows – with tailored support.

  • Daily living skills: cooking, cleaning, laundry, routines
  • Health & wellbeing: appointments, medication, fitness
  • Community connections: work placements, activities, holidays
  • Choice & control: person-centred plans, decisions, rights

Britannia Club

Britannia Club

  • When: Thursdays, 7–9pm
  • Where: Southdown, AL5
  • Cost: £5 (first session is free)

Social group for adults with sports, games, arts and crafts, quizzes, themed parties, occasional trips, special guests.

Allotment Club

Allotment Club

  • When: Mondays, 1–3.30pm
  • Where: Southdown, AL5
  • Cost: free

Hands-on gardening at our community allotment. Get involved in watering, weeding, planting and harvesting.

Lifelong Learning

Practical skills for everyday independence

As well as caring throughout our Supported Living Service, we also offer Lifelong Learning opportunities to enhance the life-skills of the people we support. These include learning to use public transport, personal safety training, help with money management, and exploring interests for volunteering opportunities.
